9th Annual Monarch Party

Help scientists track monarchs by tagging them as they migrate to Mexico! We will also place focus on other important pollinators.

This is an open house event and monarch tagging will take place on a first come, first served basis. Monarch numbers are LOW this year, so catching monarchs in the prairie for tagging is encouraged.

Families will enjoy educational activities, crafts, milkweed giveaways, and more. The monarchs we will be tagging have been collected from eggs and carefully cared for by experienced monarch enthusiasts in our community. Participants can also search for and catch migrating monarchs along the trails.
