Homeschool: Spring Edible Plants

Nahant Marsh's homeschool program is a monthly series of natural science classes designed to supplement at-home learning. The program activities are designed for grades K-8th. This program is delivered in a flexible format that is specially designed for homeschool students, and aims to immerse children in the natural world. Classes meet once a month on Fridays from 2:30-4:00 pm.

April 19, 2024: Spring Edible Plants

During this month’s homeschool we will take a trip to nature's grocery store. Learn how to safely identify and prepare common spring edible plants. Students will prepare their own wild treat and make a recipe book to take home!

• Maximum of 20 students per session.
• Dress for the weather and for messy activities.
