Description

 

Erik Murry, the Sandhill Crane technician for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, will be here to talk about his role in the DNR’s pilot project studying breeding populations of Sandhill Cranes in Iowa. Included is breeding, nesting, brood rearing, as well as tracking of both colts and adults. In addition we will discuss the dispersal and growth of the Iowa population as a whole! 

 

A continental breakfast will be served. Please bring a travel coffee mug if you have one.
