Description

November marks the peak of waterfowl migration through Iowa and wetlands are extremely popular among migrating ducks as places to rest and refuel. Join us for a morning at Nahant Marsh, a premier wetland area nestled near the Mississippi River in Davenport! We hope to see some migrating ducks as well as other birds that frequent this area in the fall. We'll also have time to visit the Marsh's nature center. You won't want to miss this exciting trip in eastern Iowa!

Iowa Young Birders field trips are free to attend and open to the public, but advanced registration is required to receive details about the event. We will have a limited number of binoculars available for use.

Iowa Young Birders welcomes everyone to the outdoors regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion, creed, national origin, or disability status. Our outings can accommodate wheelchairs, vision and hearing impairments, and other health conditions.

For questions, or to request accommodations for an upcoming outing, please contact Iowa Young Birders at Iowa Young Birders - Contact Us (wildapricot.org)
