Description
The Identification And Use Of Culturally Significant Native Plants Of The Quad City Region:
Native American Indians used and still do use many plants for food, shelter, medicine, ceremonies, and clothing. Many of those plants were also used by pioneers and early settlers and became the major herbs that have served North Americans as medicines, folk remedies and eventually led to patent medicines. A display of old herbal medicine packets, patent medicines and a few medicinal plant books will be available to look at.. Includes continental breakfast.
