Ferns of the QC Region: Their Identification, Uses, and Folklore
Instructor Bob Bryant has a B.S. degree in Biology and a M.S. degree in Recreation and Park Administration from Western Illinois University. He was director/naturalist of the Clinton County Conservation Board for 15 years, and director/naturalist of Scott County Conservation Board’s Wapsi River Environmental Education Center for 16 years. Now retired, he continues to be involved with local conservation activities (especially plant inventories). He is a member of Iowa and Illinois Plant Societies. Included in the presentation are two new fern records for Rock Island County and the rarest fern in Iowa and Illinois. Some fern guidebooks will be available to look at. Includes continental breakfast.
