Learn about this group of fascinating insects. In this class, we will explore what makes the order Orthoptera unique, collect and identify various species, and create models to learn more about their movement and sound.

Nahant Marsh Education Center provides a monthly program specifically geared towards homeschooled children grades K-8th Each program includes a lesson, hands-on activity, and outdoor exploration. Students will be split up into two classrooms, K-2nd and 3rd-8th.
